Yumana Liveaboard Price List: Cabins, Inclusions & What You Pay On Top

Yumana Liveaboard shared-departure cabins are priced from IDR 5,000,000 per person for a Superior Cabin, rising through Deluxe at IDR 6,350,000, Signature Cabin I on the main deck at IDR 6,750,000, Signature Cabins II and III on the upper deck at IDR 7,000,000, to the Royal Suite at IDR 9,250,000. An additional person in any cabin is IDR 4,250,000. Private full-boat charter is quoted on request. Park and government fees, dive packages, flights and tips are paid on top — the full breakdown is below.
Komodo pricing is where most travellers get caught out, not because operators are dishonest but because the headline figure and the total figure are different numbers and nobody explains the gap. This page publishes Yumana’s real rates, then lists every cost that sits outside them, then places the boat honestly against the wider Labuan Bajo market. Rupiah is the billed currency; dollar figures here are indicative only.

Park and government fees, stated carefully
This is the most misreported number in Komodo, so here is the position as clearly as we can put it. The most defensible current figure is from IDR 250,000 per foreign visitor per day for marine-park entrance under the 2026 non-tax state revenue schedule, applied as a flat daily charge rather than a weekday/weekend split. Complicating that: older travel blogs still circulate the earlier IDR 150,000 and IDR 250,000 tiers, and some operators quote a bundled route ticket for the Komodo circuit in the region of IDR 650,000. Separately, the IDR 3,750,000 annual premium-membership plan announced in 2022 was cancelled and is not enforced, and a reported daily visitor cap of around 1,000 people in core zones has been described for 2026 — reported, not legislated.
What that means for your budget: allow from IDR 250,000 per person per day, understand that some routes are ticketed as a bundle instead, and confirm the exact current figure with us before departure. We will tell you what is actually being charged at the ranger station that month rather than what a two-year-old article says.
Where Yumana sits in the Komodo market
| Market tier | Typical published band | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Budget shared liveaboard | From around USD 150 per night | Shared or basic cabins, simpler vessels, larger groups |
| Mid-range 4D3N package | Roughly USD 600–1,600 per person for the trip | Private cabins, standard phinisi comfort |
| Luxury liveaboard | From around USD 500 per night | Suite cabins, higher crew ratio, premium fit-out |
| Yumana shared cabin | ≈ USD 305–565 per person per shared departure | Private cabin with en-suite and air conditioning on a 32 m luxury-class phinisi |
Market bands above are drawn from published operator and travel-industry reporting on the Labuan Bajo fleet, not from our own marketing. We are placing Yumana in the upper-mid segment: a luxury-class phinisi with every cabin en-suite, priced below the top of the market. There is no verified universal private-charter band for Komodo, which is why we do not publish one.
Payment and terms
Bookings are held against a deposit and confirmed in writing, with the balance due before departure. Exact payment methods, deposit percentage, reschedule window and cancellation terms are confirmed at booking for your specific date and package, because they differ between shared departures and full-boat charters. We do not publish blanket terms that would not apply to half of our guests — ask, and you will get them in writing before you transfer anything. The step-by-step sequence is on how to book Yumana Liveaboard.
To turn a rate into a real total, pick your trip length first: the 3D2N open trip is the standard circuit, and cabin choice is set out on the deck plan and cabin comparison. For whole-vessel pricing see the private charter page, or read how our parent operator prices its fleet.
Frequently asked questions
Is the cabin rate per person or per cabin?
Per person, on shared departures. Two guests sharing a Deluxe Cabin pay IDR 6,350,000 each. A third guest in that cabin on the extra bed is charged the additional-person rate of IDR 4,250,000.
Why is Signature Cabin I cheaper than Signature II and III?
Deck position. Signature Cabin I is on the main deck; Signature II and III sit on the upper deck with better light and a quieter position, which is what the difference reflects. Signature Cabin I also carries a minimum of two guests.
What does the Royal Suite include that the others do not?
A private balcony and a jacuzzi, in addition to the queen bed, air conditioning and private bathroom that every cabin has. It is the only cabin on board with either feature and it is the one that sells out first.
Can I pay in US dollars or euros?
Invoicing is in Indonesian rupiah. Payment in other currencies can usually be arranged, with the conversion applied at the rate on the day. Because our guests come largely from Europe, Southeast Asia and Australia, ask us before assuming your preferred method works — it usually does, but confirm first.
How much should I budget in total for a 3D2N?
Take the cabin rate, add park and government fees from IDR 250,000 per person per day, add a dive package if you are diving, then add flights, one Labuan Bajo hotel night as a buffer, and tips. For a couple in a Deluxe Cabin, the fees and extras typically add a meaningful but not shocking amount on top of the cabin rate — we will give you a real total for your dates rather than a guess.
Are children charged the full rate?
Children occupying an extra bed are charged the additional-person rate. Infants and specific family configurations are handled case by case — tell us the ages and we will price it properly.
Do prices change by season?
Demand across the whole Labuan Bajo fleet peaks between July and September and is lowest between December and March. Always ask for a live quote for your dates rather than assuming the published rate is fixed year-round.
Is there a discount for booking the whole boat?
Full-boat charter is not priced as the sum of eight cabins — it is quoted as its own product against your season, nights, headcount and route. In many cases it works out better than it looks; send us the brief and we will show you the arithmetic.
